A commercial bakery in Oman needed to pack many products of different shapes and sizes without buying a machine for each. Cratedge engineered and exported one machine that packs them all.
The short version, for procurement and engineering teams evaluating a similar project.
| Client | A commercial bakery in the Sultanate of Oman |
|---|---|
| Supplied by | Cratedge, Engineering & Machinery division (Pakistan) |
| Equipment | One industrial packing machine, custom-engineered |
| Challenge | Packing a wide range of bakery products with different shapes, lengths and heights |
| Solution | A single machine designed around the bakery's full product range, with adjustable product guides and format settings for short changeovers |
| Verification | Built and run against the client's own product dimensions before dispatch |
| Delivery | Exported from Pakistan with full export documentation, operating manual and spare-parts list; installed at the bakery in Oman |
| Outcome | The bakery's whole range packed on one line, from one operator station |
The bakery produces a wide range of products, each with its own shape, length and height. A dedicated packing machine for every product would have multiplied capital cost, floor space, maintenance and operator headcount.
Instead of designing around a single product, we designed around the bakery's full range. Adjustable product guides and format settings let operators switch from one product to the next with a short changeover.
The machine was built and run against the client's own product sizes before it left Pakistan, so performance was proven before shipment, not discovered on site.
It shipped with export documentation, an operating manual and a spare-parts list, and was installed at the bakery in Oman.
One machine, one operator station, and the bakery's whole range packed on a single line.

The same approach works for any producer with more than one product to pack. To quote, we need:
Every product you want to pack, with its name and unit weight.
Length, width and height of the smallest and largest products.
Your target packs per minute or per shift.
Your film or pouch, and any coding or gas-flush needs.
Power supply (voltage, phase, frequency) and floor space.
Share product dimensions, target output and your site's power supply. Our engineering team replies within one business day.
